Artistic Journey Unfolded

Manjuparkavi Sharan is an interior designer turned full-time artist whose practice centers on hyper-realism and mixed media. While her professional journey began in interior design, her passion for art has been a lifelong companion, ultimately leading her to fully devote herself to painting.

Working from the warmth of her home studio, Manjuparkavi creates luminous hyper-realistic portraits that capture the depth and complexity of human expression. Her artistic exploration extends beyond portraiture, embracing florals, animals, and landscapes across a range of mediums, including oil, colored pencil, and graphite. Each piece reflects her belief that art is a sanctuary—one that purifies the soul, opens new perspectives, and offers viewers a chance to see the world through a renewed lens.

Her growing body of work has been recognized for its technical precision, emotional resonance, and ability to balance strength with sensitivity. In 2024, she hosted her first solo art show in Illinois, exhibited her work at the Palette & Chisel Art Academy in Chicago as a member of the Portrait Society of America, was named a finalist in the Seattle International Art Show conducted by Teraverna, and was selected as one of only 25 artists to join the Artist INC St. Louis Fall 2025 cohort.

Manjuparkavi continues to expand her artistic practice with gratitude for the family and friends who support her journey, and with a vision of sharing her art with wider audiences in exhibitions and collections.
